Mary dreamed of owning an upscale and elegant bridal shop since she was three years old, but was sidetracked by a nursing career that carried her to positions such as hospital Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operating Officer. She left her nursing management position at a Reno medical center to realize her childhood dream. Mary holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, in addition to numerous professional certifications and honors. She learned the bridal and fashion trades by working in an exclusive East Coast bridal salon.

Brian is a retired Naval Aviator, having last served as head of air operations for a Navy/Marine carrier task force in Bosnia and the Gulf War. He is also a former medical center Human Resources manager. Brian holds three Masters degrees in Management, Human Resources, and National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and a Bachelors degree from UCLA. Arch of SwordsHe also served as the 2010 volunteer fashion show chairperson for the American Heart Association's Fantasy Wedding Faire.

Their's is a true love story. Mary and Brian met and married in 1981 in Pensacola, Florida, where Mary was a Navy Nurse and Brian was on instructor duty. Their wedding was a beautiful military ceremony in full dress uniform. Mary and Brian reside in Sparks.

Christine is a 2007 graduate of Reed High School and attends a local college. She joined our staff as a consultant in the summer of 2007. You’ve seen her modeling our gowns in Wedding Affair magazine, the Reno Gazette Journal advertising the Peppermill Hotel and Casino, and as the model seen in our TV, magazine, Internet, and newspaper ads and for the 2008 and 2009 American Heart Association Bridal Faires.

Megan is a familiar face to those who have seen her working at Cache'.  Her enthusiasm and humor are contagious, and her knowledge of formalwear fashion styles is breathtaking. She captivated the audience as a model for us at The Grove's fashion show, and she'll captivate you too! A local lady working on her MBA at UNR, she understands how to meet your needs in this tough economy.

Sharlee

Owner, Alterations by Sharlee

If your wedding gown or formal dress needs alterations, you won't want anyone but Sharlee for the job. A legend in the Lake Tahoe area, she's created formal wear worn in the Miss America pageant. Her rates are far lower than you'll find charged by the big box chain bridal shops and the quality of her work is far superior. While you can choose to have your alterations done elsewhere, with Sharlee you just can't go wrong!
